Preserved Brunig G3/4 steam loco is seen here on the normally railcar only Meiringen Innertkirchen Bahn near Aareschlucht West with a special from Innertkirchen to Interlaken which will join up with another special from Giswil at Meiringen – 16/07/2006

An hour later after the last photo RhB Gem4/4 801 is seen here again just below the summit of the Bernina pass (note the freight wagons on the back, most trains worked by a pair of railcars are limited to load 6 but with a more powerful locomotive and a railcar this train has a load of 8 which has worked up grades of up to 7% but is now about to lose almost 2,000 meters in elevation in the next 40km of track) - 20/7/2006
